Ready for me to quilt your quilt top?
Here is a handy checklist for you.
Here are a few things to know about my process.
-
I only accept cotton material at this time. No minky etc.
-
Press and measure your quilt top. Mark the top center of your quilt top with a piece of painters tape or a safety pin.
-
Clip any loose threads especially the ones on the back.
-
Make sure that your backing is at least 4 inches bigger than your quilt top on all four sides which means 8 inches wider and longer. Backing fabric seams should run horizontally and be pressed open for best results. I recommend using a 1/2-inch seam allowance.
-
Mark the top center of your backing with painter's tape or a safety pin.
-
Batting should be 4 inches bigger than your quilt top on all four sides, 8 inches wider and longer.

To estimate your quilting total, use this equation: Length x Width x $0.022, for example 60 x 50 x $0.022 = $66.00. Add on services and shipping cost are additional.
-
I have a $50 minimum.

I will contact you to let you know when your quilt has arrived along with any questions that I have for you after I print out your information from the Quilt Request Form.
-
While I am having fun with your quilt on the frame, I will send updates of the progress.

I will let you know when it is finished and do a final quality check with you before packaging.
